We got together with the fam and took some cute pictures at the Pumpkin Patch at Cypress United Methodist Church on Monday afternoon. Here are my favorite pictures:

October in pictures

Fall is been busy busy already! I was looking at my calendar since I posted last on October 2 and there has been a lot going on. So I'm going to post about it all through pictures...everybody loves pictures right?!

So the first weekend in October we celebrated three important birthdays! My "school mom" Maribeth had her birthday Friday so we ate breakfast at the Egg and I (yum!), Saturday was my dear friend Megan's 30th birthday dinner at Pappasito's (double yum!!), and then we finished it off Sunday with my sweet mom's birthday at Saltgrass (wow a weekend of food!). I forgot to get a pic with Maribeth.

The next week I played my first game of Bunco! I won $10, lol. I played at my mom's best friend Carla's house. It was fun! Carla made chili and cornbread, salad, and desserts. I enjoyed hanging out with them!

Later that week, we celebrated Michelle's birthday and finished that weekend off with her baby shower for Madelyn! I've never helped throw a shower before, it turned out great!

That weekend one of my oldest best friends, Jessica and her husband Kyle moved into their first house! What an exciting time for them! I was honored to be their first house guest! Their new place is beautiful and I love it, so happy for them :) Here we are!

The next week I had my monthly date with one of my dearest friends from Hancock, Sydne. She is such a sweet friend and I miss her so! We had dinner together at Lupe Tortilla...I wish I had taken a picture! We meet once a month for dinner around the 20th but we were a little behind so we met earlier. Love dinner dates with her! We talked all about Dancing with the Stars and Pan Am!

Oh yeah! And I've gone back to boot camp this past week because its free now! Woo hoo! Still need to get around to cancelling that Y membership....Its hard to get up so early but now the nice thing is I don't have to rush home to get ready for work. I can actually go back to sleep!! We had new friends come this morning and that was exciting! I've only been back for a week now but already feeling so much better and stronger again.

Also this month I have been LOVING my Bible study at the MET on Wednesday mornings, just such a blessing...the people, the study, the teaching! LOVE IT ALL! Nothing compares to the closeness I'm feeling to Jesus right now though! I'm experiencing some new stuff and it just feels so amazing. Its definitely a delight now!

We have been watching our nephew Colby on Tuesdays and Thursdays this month to help lighten the load on Michelle and Memaw :) Jeromy taught him to ride his bike without the training wheels and he learned so quickly! He got it in just two days of practice at the park and he is riding like a pro now! He is loving that new bike!

I had been excited all last week to go to my cousin's Homecoming game!  Taylor and Ethan are my younger cousins that live in Angleton, Texas. Taylor is on the drill team and she is a captain this year as a junior, yay! She looks so cute in her little white uniform. My aunt Mollie was sweet and made us little mums to wear with a picture of Taylor on it that I took at the last game.

Last night we had another small shower for Michelle at La Madeline with some ladies from our life group, sunday school class, bible study....whatever its called now!! It was a small group but sometimes thats nice because you really get to talk with people more! I love making new friends and learning more about people :) and the food was amazing!!

I have GOT to start taking more pictures! I love sharing these pictures. Will definitely be taking my camera with me more often! Hope you enjoyed my month of October. I will *try* to post more often so I don't have to cram everything into one post like I did today...and that is all!

CRUISE!

I realized I haven't blogged in over a month, oops! I was doing pretty well for awhile! That's ok, September has been a busy month.  Jeromy and I went on our first cruise together for 7 days on the Carnival Conquest. We stopped in Jamaica, Grand Cayman, and Cozumel. It was a great time together and we learned a few things along the way.
1. We are 5 day cruisers...7 days on a boat was a long time, we missed home and were ready to be back!
2. A balcony room would be awesome next time. We had an inside room that was handicap and you'd think that would mean it was bigger but they threw an extra bed in there when the room is only made for one bed so we had absolutely no room to walk. We like to watch the water so we will be splurging for the balcony next time!
3. Bring your own Dr. Pepper! We had our own water but didn't think about the cokes, oops.
4. We needed a backpack to carry all our stuff in port. We had a bag but it got heavy to carry.
5. Self assist is the way to go...we had to wait so much longer to get off the boat which made the line really long. You live, you learn!

That was the top 5 things we learned. I was nervous about not knowing what to take or what to expect but now I know! Hope the next one is sooner rather than later!

Here are my favorite pictures from the trip (its so hard to pick just a few!!):
